With the crowd on their feet chanting wildly, some great moves down the right hand side after 40 minutes gave Byczyna a wonderful opportunity to level the score, and M. Igali-Igalffy stepped up to the challenge. 1 - 1 Halftime score was 1 - 1. Byczyna had most of the ball, with 58 percent of possession.

Special took the lead 54 minutes into the game, making the score 1 - 2 after some elegant movement down the middle. Y. Kourampies was the scorer. S. Kolczyński was called on to replace Byczyna's G. Petrotto after 63 minutes following a nasty collision. Byczyna were close to equalising with a spectacular free kick by G. Fazzari after 73 minutes, but L. Von Eyben made a great save, tipping it to a corner. Byczyna claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 58 percent.

Most important Byczyna player was M. Igali-Igalffy. However, S. Kolczyński made a disastrous appearance. Special's best player was D. Hufschmied. A. Chilò Trosman was a disappointment, however. The match ends 1 - 2.
