A brilliantly sunny day had enticed a crowd of 25000 to NOBA 1948 Arena. Thomas G. Rundstrand was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Walid Goulois and Toni Elvas. NOBA tactics involved an interesting 3-5-2 combination. The wings were the focus of most of OKS_STOMIL's attacks today. NOBA fans held their breath as Ł. Juncewicz scampered down the left side. He successfully avoided all challenges and cracked home the shot for 1 - 0! The visiting team's M. Heilig was able to score the 1 - 1 equaliser with a header 37 minutes into the match, after some good work on the right. NOBA created a good opportunity to score 40 minutes into the match when L. Mulder's hooked ball from the left created a scuffle in front of the goal, and the visitors' defenders had a hard time clearing the ball. OKS_STOMIL's Ł. Stachowiak refused to leave the field after injuring his achilles tendon after 41 minutes. Ł. NOBA had a good opportunity to take the lead as V. Malagarriga came up the left side, but he struck the ball weakly and it went straight into the arms of R. Biesterveld. After 70 minutes, the OKS_STOMIL coach wanted to see a new face on the pitch, waving A. Kerner off the field. M. Nukka took his place. The visitors' central defence should have had no trouble clearing the pass to A. Aizpurua, but the NOBA player managed to shrug them off and fired a low shot past the keeper to give his team the lead. 3 - 2! NOBA claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 63 percent.

NOBA's top performer was clearly J. Nordtømme. R. Florián on the other hand, had a terrible day. The most dominating OKS_STOMIL player was without a doubt M. Nukka. M. Podobas was a disappointment, however. The match ends 3 - 2.
