K.S. 1 - 7 Ultras (387406322)

The weather was pretty good, and a crowd of 14777 had shown up at SPINDEUS for the match. Jyri Tuomainen was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Özkan Keskin and Theodor Bălaşa. K.S. decided to use a 2-5-3 set up. The following players had been chosen: Horion - Regnault, Crommelinck - Będziński, Oliveira, Patalas, Despiegelaere, Wziątek - Marie, De Deygere, Mieszczyński.

A 2-5-3 alignment was the formation of choice for Ultras. Lineup: Leibinn - 光峰 (Guangfeng) , Dawidziuk - Gallo, Krúchmarov, Vieira, Lajkovics, Sobrevia - Kapuśniak, Forgács, Grgurev.

K.S. decided to play creatively. Ultras clearly preferred using their ability to attack in the middle. Ultras had several good opportunities to take the lead, especially 3 minutes in when V. Gallo came up alone against B. Horion who managed a block. 0 - 1 was the score with 9 minutes played, after L. Forgács cut through the central defence and chipped home a goal for Ultras. It was obvious that team Ultras had instructions to attack in the middle instead of on the wings. After 29 minutes, Ultras's Ł. Kapuśniak burst through the central defence and let loose a cannonball of a shot, scoring for 0 - 2. The referee showed K.S.'s L. De Deygere the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. Ł. Kapuśniak received a delicate pass through the home side's central defence after 39 minutes, and chipped it past the flailing keeper to score making it 0 - 3. The Ultras fans went wild, whilst the home fans started to think about leaving early. A drive down the left side allowed Ł. Kapuśniak to get in close and score another goal for Ultras after 40 minutes, taking the score to 0 - 4. At that, Ł. Kapuśniak was noted down for a hat trick! After this, you could see that the players of Ultras were more interested in killing time than scoring more goals. Halftime score was 0 - 4. Ultras had most of the ball, with 61 percent of possession.

58 minutes into the match, K.S.'s L. De Deygere collected a ball sent down the right and put it in the back of the net, narrowing the score to 1 - 4. What ever got into B. Crommelinck, the crowd mumbled, as he suddenly struck a cross pass through his own defence - ending up right in front of Ultras's T. Grgurev, who easily put the ball away for 1 - 5 after 60 minutes. 61 minutes into the game, 关. 光峰 (Guangfeng) had to leave the pitch due to a knee injury. In came N. Norrquist. After 66 minutes, an incisive pass through the middle gave L. Forgács a chance to increase the lead for Ultras, and he did not disappoint. The score was then 1 - 6. Ł. Kapuśniak wanted to play on, but the Ultras coach had other ideas, and he was replaced 70 minutes into the game by D. Remus. The Ultras captaincy was handed to L. Forgács. After several obvious shirt pulling incidents, N. Vieira got himself booked. The manager of Ultras was not happy. There was concern in the stands when, at the 77 minute mark, K.S.'s J. Mieszczyński hit the ground hard, but he refused the attention of the trainer and rejoined his teammates on the pitch. N. Norrquist of Ultras took advantage of a mistake on the home side's right after 78 minutes which increased the away team's lead to 1 - 7. The Ultras players could smell victory in the air. T. Grgurev wasn't in a hurry to leave the field as he was substituted for B. Czarnacki after 79 minutes. Possession in this half belonged to Ultras, who controlled the ball 62 percent of the time.

K.S.'s top performer was clearly K. Patalas. P. Oliveira turned in a dismal performance, however. The most dominating Ultras player was without a doubt L. Forgács. On the other hand, R. Leibinn's play was disheartening. The match ends 1 - 7.
