It was an exceptionally sunny day for the crowd of 12400 that came out to Stodoła Stadium. Sascha Bachmayer was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Patryk Osip and Philipp Martini. Bertolè's dazzling drive up the left, but the opportunity fizzled out as his shot went just over the bar after 2 minutes. FCZAWA89 took the lead 11 minutes into the game by 1 - 0, as D. Poroszewski elegantly received a long range pass through the middle, finishing off with a half-volley shot just below the bar. After 22 minutes, the visitors tied it up at 1 - 1 when a fantastic pass from the left was finished off by M. Murawski. The crowd gasped as P. Olsrød of Warszawa was flattened by an opponent after 32 minutes and had to be carried off. S. Önsal came in off the bench. Many thought D. Poroszewski ought to have been awarded a penalty 35 minutes into the game, as he went down trying to dribble around G. Pupa after a determined run through the middle. FCZAWA89 had a good opportunity to attack in the middle, but remembered their instructions to focus on wing attacks instead. FCZAWA89 made a bid to take the lead as a ball coming in on the right hand side left Ł. Breczko completely alone with keeper G. Pupa, who made a spectacular block. A counterattack by Warszawa after 38 minutes could have resulted in a goal, but P. Walcher, coming in on the left, couldn't get the shot off. 39 minutes in, Warszawa's P. Walcher received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. The teams went for the halftime break at 1 - 1. FCZAWA89 enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 55 percent of possession.

G. Triani would have preferred to play on, but his coach decided otherwise. M. Podolecki entered the game for FCZAWA89 as the match clock showed 46 minutes. The FCZAWA89 captaincy was handed to E. As the 66 minute mark approached, the Warszawa coach decided it was time for a substitution. L. Kołcz reluctantly made way for F. Romero Hernández on the pitch. P. Klajbor became the new Warszawa captain. B. Hemer received some harsh words from his coach after he acted foolishly 74 minutes into the match, probably out of lack of experience, and almost let an opponent score. FCZAWA89 fans held their breath as D. Poroszewski scampered down the left side. He successfully avoided all challenges and cracked home the shot for 3 - 2! Possession in this half belonged to FCZAWA89, who controlled the ball 56 percent of the time.

FCZAWA89's top performer was clearly R. Śniada. T. Beck on the other hand, had a terrible day. P. Klajbor performed admirably for Warszawa. However, V. Lafuente made a disastrous appearance. The match ends 3 - 2.
