(387423989)

19-08-2012 11.30
The weather was pretty good, and a crowd of 19825 had shown up at
FC ZJEDNOCZENI BOLKÓW WIERZCHOSŁAWICE for the match.
Óscar Benedit was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Vesa Junnonen and
Heinz Dornbach.
SIEKIERA started off with a 3-4-3 lineup.
They fielded: Makara - Tognola, Flejszman, Kaczmarzyk - Zowada, Cabánik, Łyczewski, Saurenmann - Lasfargues, Gell, Dmochowski.
-----PiT----- decided to use a 3-5-2 set up.
Lineup: Jadczyk - Halin, Eikauskas, Palsio - Schreier, Allaert, van der Leek, Fernández de la Cruz, Palming - Binkiewicz, Kanicki.
It was an obvious ambition of SIEKIERA to use their ability at attacking on the flanks.
-----PiT----- mostly ignored the flanks in favour of their ability to attack in the middle.
After some beautiful movement down the left wing,
A. Tognola scored for SIEKIERA putting them ahead 1 - 0, after 7 minutes.
After 18 minutes,
C. Saurenmann sent the corner kick right to
D. Gell who headed it sharply past the keeper. 2 - 0!
SIEKIERA put in a good effort on the right, but
B. Kaczmarzyk saw his volley fly wide of the mark 20 minutes into the game.
It was obvious that SIEKIERA had instructions to attack on the wings instead of in the middle.
SIEKIERA's
W. Dmochowski swung in a good chance from the left, but the visitors' defence were able to clear the ball.
It was 2 - 0 at the break.
Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by SIEKIERA, with 56 percent of the ball.
C. Saurenmann left the field with a smile on his face as he was substituted 46 minutes into the game, as his team was in the lead.
K. Puc was the replacement.
-----PiT-----'s
P. Palming got himself booked for a foul.
-----PiT----- players heard their coach's words ringing in their ears and steered their wing attacks to the middle instead.
A bit later, -----PiT-----'s
M. Schreier easily reduced the lead to 2 - 1 after a misunderstanding in the home side's central defence.
SIEKIERA managed to extend their lead to 3 - 1 when
K. Flejszman cut in neatly from the left side and struck a fine shot past the away team's goalkeeper.
The home team's fans were upset when, after 68 minutes, the visiting
A. Kanicki broke through the central defence and kicked the ball past the keeper. 3 - 2 was the score.
SIEKIERA's
A. Tognola was shown a yellow card for standing over the ball and blocking an opponent's quick free kick after 69 minutes.
SIEKIERA had a good opportunity to attack in the middle, but remembered their instructions to focus on wing attacks instead.
Things were deteriorating for the away team as SIEKIERA scored another to make it 4 - 2 after a left side attack resulted in a goal for
A. Tognola after 72 minutes.
After this, you could see that the players of SIEKIERA were more interested in killing time than scoring more goals.
After several obvious shirt pulling incidents,
C. Halin got himself booked. The manager of -----PiT----- was not happy.
SIEKIERA were determined to attack on the wing and their central attempts were constantly abandoned in favour of the wings.
A great save by keeper
B. Jadczyk after 82 minutes kept the visitors in the game after
K. Puc struck from the left with a real cannonball.
SIEKIERA's
K. Flejszman saw his fine effort strike the top of the bar following some good work up the middle by his teammates after 83 minutes.
-----PiT----- had a good opportunity to attack on the wing, but remembered their instructions to go for middle attacks.
M. Schreier showed why he is feared on the counterattack, breaking through in the middle and scoring for -----PiT----- after 85 minutes to make the score 4 - 3.
The bench was restless, and with 85 minutes passed -----PiT-----'s coach gave
K. Moc the opportunity the player had been hoping for.
A. Kanicki reluctantly left the field.
SIEKIERA claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 55 percent.
Most important SIEKIERA player was
R. Lasfargues.
M. Makara turned in a dismal performance, however.
-----PiT-----'s best player was
Z. Binkiewicz.
On the other hand,
B. Jadczyk's play was disheartening.
The match ends 4 - 3.
