Dark skies made the crowd of 7054 at Ai Se Eu Te Pego a little nervous, but the rain held off. Gizur Kortsson was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Cornelius Moss and Davide Rosa. Generecja had chosen a strategic 3-3-3 formation. Lineup: Marinovski - González Palacios, Gutmann, Paszke - Stasiuk, Borup, Sierzęga - Salamoński, Heierli, Bludovsky.

A 2-5-3 alignment was the formation of choice for Manchster. The following players had been chosen: Mundschenk - Drion, Oliveras - Mihuţ, Raknoi, Sugg, Przychodzeń, Caprioli - Vázquez, Rivero Beato, Drumbl.

Today, Generecja's strategy involved concentrating on the flanks for their attacks. Manchster mostly ignored the flanks in favour of their ability to attack in the middle. After 6 minutes, there was a bit of a mixup on the field as Generecja found themselves out of position and their organisation level dropped to inadequate. 23 minutes into the game, Generecja seemed to suffer a certain amount of confusion and they fell to a inadequate level of organisation. Manchster had a good opportunity to attack on the wing, but remembered their instructions to go for middle attacks. After 26 minutes, Manchster's J. Rivero Beato made his way through the middle and nonchalantly placed the ball out of the keeper's reach, putting the visitors up 0 - 1. Manchster were determined to attack in the middle, even their wing attacks ended up centrally. After 31 minutes a combination in the middle resulted in a through ball for J. Drion who increased Manchster's lead to 0 - 2. Central attacks were the recipe of the day for Manchster, as they moved the ball from the wings to the middle with startling regularity. The visitors' S. Przychodzeń took advantage of a misunderstanding between the home side's goalie and centre backs 39 minutes into the match. 0 - 3 for Manchster. Players in Generecja heard their coach's words ringing in their ears and steered their central attacks to the wings instead. Generecja supporters cheered as good work down the right got the ball to R. González Palacios who reduced the visitors' lead after 43 minutes to 1 - 3. Halftime score was 1 - 3. Manchster claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 64 percent.

A review of the gameplan helped Generecja get back to a solid organisation when the referee blew his whistle again. After 47 minutes, Manchster's A. Drumbl burst through the central defence and let loose a cannonball of a shot, scoring for 1 - 4. At this point, it was obvious that the players of Manchster lowered the tempo and became more defensively oriented. J. Drion received a delicate pass through the home side's central defence after 57 minutes, and chipped it past the flailing keeper to score making it 1 - 5. The Manchster fans went wild, whilst the home fans started to think about leaving early. The referee showed Manchster's A. Drumbl the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. Generecja were worse off though, as D. Borup was unable to finish the game and no more substitutes were available! The Generecja captaincy was handed to J. Salamoński. Had it not been for one of the home defenders, D. Sugg would have put Manchster up another goal 83 minutes into the match with his audacious lob from the right wing. Manchster players heard their coach's words ringing in their ears and steered their wing attacks to the middle instead. After 84 minutes, an incisive pass through the middle gave J. Rivero Beato a chance to increase the lead for Manchster, and he did not disappoint. The score was then 1 - 6. Generecja's W. Paszke got himself booked for a foul. A defender managed to keep the ball from crossing the goal-line after a curling shot coming in from the right from M. Oliveras after 87 minutes, and prevented Manchster from going up another goal. 87 minutes into the game, Generecja seemed a little tentative in their play as their organization fell to passable. Manchster enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 79 percent of possession.

J. Salamoński performed admirably for Generecja. H. Gutmann was a disappointment, however. Most important Manchster player was J. Vázquez. On the other hand, N. Mihuţ's play was disheartening. The match ends 1 - 6.
