12500 spectators arrived at
Świony Centrum, where weather conditions were pretty good for football.
Louis Girard was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Yakir Fridman and
Edgar Horta.
Centrum started off with a 3-5-2 lineup.
The following players had been chosen: Macau - León, Kahl, Strohalm - Mosseck, Zacharek, Filattiera, Negretto, Haller - Højfeldt, Kohlmann.
67-200 decided to use a 3-4-3 set up.
They fielded: Ackermann-Fruehauf - Andersson, Sannicolò, Schiavoni - Zevzek, Labareda, Mizerski, Odolczyk - Mlakar, Schramme, Barbu.
For their match strategy, Centrum had decided to use their ability to counter-attack whenever possible.
67-200 used their ability to concentrate their attacks in the middle of the pitch, rather than on the wings.
T. Mosseck's early cross saw the defenders caught out of position and the alert
A. Kohlmann was able to pounce and roll the ball past the hapless goalkeeper to score for Centrum. 1 - 0.
A foul called during a 67-200 counterattack resulted in a great chance to score, but
I. Schiavoni's shot rattled off the post.
Centrum's
I. Filattiera saw his fine effort strike the top of the bar following some good work up the middle by his teammates after 34 minutes.
The visitors' equaliser seemed sure to come after 39 minutes, following a one on one situation around the left hand side of the goal area, but
C. Macau got the best of it, blocking the shot from
H. Schramme.
1 - 0 was the score after the first half.
Centrum enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 53 percent of possession.
It was obvious that team 67-200 had instructions to attack in the middle instead of on the wings.
With the clock showing 71 minutes played, a great pass from the defensive line of 67-200 resulted in a counterattack that was smoothly brought under control by
B. Andersson in the centre of the opposition's penalty area, but his finish went high.
67-200 needed a fresh pair of legs on the field, and after 72 minutes
B. Andersson made way for
R. Ramza.
The visitors didn't give in and, after 72 minutes,
R. Mlakar got through the home side's central line of defence, rolling in the equaliser to make it 1 - 1.
The referee showed 67-200's
E. Zevzek the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge.
Unfortunately for Centrum,
C. Negretto was injured when the game became more physical, and he had to leave the field.
G. Verganti replaced him.
The head of
D. Sannicolò connected with a corner kick after 78 minutes, and the ball ended up with
E. Zevzek of 67-200 who blasted the ball into the net, making the score 1 - 2.
Centrum's
T. Mosseck put his head to a high ball coming in from the right after 80 minutes, but the ball went wide.
With 84 minutes played, a quick exchange of passes on the left wing freed
H. Labareda of 67-200 to slip through the defence and score another goal for the visitors. That made the score 1 - 3.
After 86 minutes 67-200's
D. Sannicolò limped slightly after a late challenge, but he was able to continue.
Centrum had most of the ball, with 53 percent of possession.
Centrum's top performer was clearly
Ł. Zacharek.
On the other hand,
C. Macau's play was disheartening.
Most important 67-200 player was
D. Barbu.
R. Mizerski turned in a dismal performance, however.
The match ends 1 - 3.
