Dziureczek had several good opportunities to take the lead, especially 23 minutes in when A. Domińczyk came up alone against A. Świech who managed a block. 30 minutes into the game, D. Ciovică almost gave the visitors the lead, as he clipped a delicate lob over the keeper, but the ball glanced harmlessly off the crossbar. After 31 minutes, the defensive line of guliwer created a counterattack through the middle that gave P. Rycaj a good look at the goal, but his shot glanced harmlessly off the crossbar. Dziureczek's J. Gradowski managed to lose the defenders as he advanced down the right wing and scored, putting the visitors ahead after 37 minutes. 1 - 2. 1 - 2 was the halftime score. This part of the game was a standoff between the teams in terms of possession.
