A brilliantly sunny day had enticed a crowd of 12000 to Gieeres Arena. Lennart Jaakkola was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Jacek Gwiazda and Adam Anderson. Pernet missed a volley shot on a ball coming in from the right. Pawelitex321 almost scored after a counterattack 28 minutes into the match, but M. Kryszak took a shot from the left that landed harmlessly in the side of the net. With 37 minutes played A. Lipski almost put the home team one ahead on a cross coming in from the right, but the shot went just wide. A. Pasterny of Gieeres was booked for kicking the ball away after the whistle. 0 - 0 was the score after the first half. Possession in this half belonged to Gieeres, who controlled the ball 59 percent of the time.

S. Dobrzyń dispatched a majestic long shot 56 minutes into the match, but missed the goal by a few metres. Gieeres were determined to attack in the middle, even their wing attacks ended up centrally. D. Kriegmaier gave Gieeres the lead as he successfully challenged the guests' central defenders, then slotted the ball into the bottom corner, giving the keeper no chance. 1 - 0 Gieeres's E. van den Muijsenberg got himself booked for a foul. In a fantastic display of determination, Pawelitex321's M. Spalter forced himself to his feet, after an opponent viciously knocked him down. The referee showed Pawelitex321's J. Rutu the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. With 80 minutes having been played, his teammates looked on in disbelief as F. Padrão thoughtlessly misplayed the ball, setting up Gieeres's N. Pernet for an easy goal. 2 - 0. The players of Gieeres now seemed to think the job was done and acted more defensively, just waiting for the ref to blow the final whistle. Gieeres players heard their coach's words ringing in their ears and steered their wing attacks to the middle instead. After 85 minutes Pawelitex321 tried to exploit their counterattacking skills, unfortunately, D. Vallejos's shot sailed wide after his break down the right. The visitors replied 86 minutes into the game, reducing the home side's lead to 2 - 1, as M. Kryszak dashed up the middle, easily lobbing the ball over the home team's keeper. When A. Pasterny made yet another studs-first tackle after 87 minutes, the referee was obliged to book the Gieeres player for the second time, sending him off the pitch. D. Vallejos's knee will be throbbing for days, but thankfully for Pawelitex321, he bravely continued in the match. Gieeres enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 56 percent of possession.

Gieeres's best player was E. van den Muijsenberg. On the other hand, M. Porcaru's play was disheartening. Pawelitex321's top performer was clearly M. Kryszak. M. Spalter on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 2 - 1.
