previous 5/10 next 7/10  Rastal 6 - 0 ISS (387610867)

Clear skies welcomed the 30130 spectators who had made their way to SV Rastal Arena I. Aldis Patarakas was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Örjan Nilsson and Ville Sakko. Rastal tactics involved an interesting 4-4-2 combination. Lineup: Schreyer - Pasquale, Soltész, Bon Nielsen, Oggier - Sabău, Gadeberg, Augsberger, Petta - Rodríguez, Moser.

ISS started off with a 4-4-2 lineup. Starters: Prem - Reinthaler, Heitzmann, Scheck, Kober - Pleischl, Wiesmayr, Hartl, Yang - Rakonczai, Singer.

Always quick and a menace to his opponents, G. Rakonczai was very close to getting through after 9 minutes, but he could only put the ball into the keeper's arms. 11 minutes into the match and the home team took a 1 - 0 lead after breaking through on the left. The scorer for Rastal was R. Moser. Things were going to get worse for the visitors. C. Rodríguez squirmed through their central defence after 17 minutes, increasing the lead to 2 - 0. After this, you could see that the players of Rastal were more interested in killing time than scoring more goals. S. Pasquale increased Rastal's lead to 3 - 0 with a penalty spot cannonball. Halftime score was 3 - 0. Rastal enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 86 percent of possession.

Rastal put themselves up 4 - 0 when L. Oggier broke through on the right, leaving the entire defence trailing in his wake. Rastal put in a good effort on the right, but C. Rodríguez saw his volley fly wide of the mark 84 minutes into the game. Rastal managed to extend their lead to 5 - 0 when J. Gadeberg cut in neatly from the left side and struck a fine shot past the away team's goalkeeper. The score became 6 - 0 at 86 minutes into the game, when Rastal were given a penalty which S. Pasquale blasted straight down the middle giving the keeper no chance! Rastal claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 91 percent.

Rastal's best player was J. Gadeberg. However, L. Schreyer made a disastrous appearance. ISS's top performer was clearly S. Reinthaler. On the other hand, W. Heitzmann's play was disheartening. The match ends 6 - 0.
