Clear skies welcomed the 3221 spectators who had made their way to Pogoń33 Arena. Stefano Stame was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Franciscus Bingen and Bart Boldo. Pogoń33 tactics involved an interesting 4-4-2 combination. The following players took the field: Bacia - Janiga, Krzyżyński, Bilski, Matejek - Sawko, Roguszewski, Kęcik, Falaciński - Hyź, Moczko.

Pacsirta had chosen a strategic 3-5-2 formation. Lineup: Waligóra - Leconte, Richenbach, Barrón - Polónia, Lubas, Sánchez, Musolino, Aniszewski - Spitzlberger, Piórkowski.

The home crowd was not impressed by the fancy moves of Pacsirta's K. Spitzlberger after 18 minutes. He converted a pass from the left for a goal, resulting in the visitors taking the 0 - 1 lead. K. Spitzlberger could have put his team up another goal 38 minutes into the game, after a rush down the left, but his closing shot hit the post. 39 minutes in, Pacsirta appeared unsure on how to play and their organisation was only solid. K. Spitzlberger received a delicate pass through the home side's central defence after 40 minutes, and chipped it past the flailing keeper to score making it 0 - 2. The Pacsirta fans went wild, whilst the home fans started to think about leaving early. Confident in their lead, Pacsirta's players relaxed and focused more on defending the lead than increasing it. 43 minutes into the game, Pacsirta had difficulty finding their positions and their organisation dropped to solid. I. Piórkowski's speed was clear to see after 44 minutes, as he darted down the wing and released K. Spitzlberger who placed the ball into the back of the net to make the score 0 - 3. That made three goals for K. Spitzlberger and he was marked down for the hat trick. 0 - 3 was the halftime score. Pacsirta had most of the ball, with 63 percent of possession.

Despite his frustration resulting in the smashing of a few teacups, the coach of Pacsirta was able to get his message across, and raised Pacsirta's organisation to solid. With 65 minutes played, C. Barrón nearly put the visitors another one up as he broke through in the middle and fired from just outside the box, but his shot passed just over the bar. Pogoń33's E. Matejek got himself booked for a foul. J. Sánchez was the unlucky victim and couldn't continue the game, so Pacsirta's C. Boone had to come off the bench. With the scoreboard showing that 73 minutes had been played, Pacsirta nearly put themselves up another goal after F. Musolino came through on the left. Fortunately for the home crowd, the keeper made the save. 77 minutes into the game, Pacsirta seemed a little tentative in their play as their organization fell to solid. K. Spitzlberger was, after 79 minutes, almost able to extend the visitors' lead with a well placed diving header after the ball had looped into the centre, but the home side's keeper A. Bacia made the save. Pogoń33 had to make a substitution after 81 minutes. T. Falaciński limped off the field and was replaced by S. Kujawowicz. After the ball was lifted in from the left, J. Lubas was on his own in the home side's penalty area and should have scored after 82 minutes, but missed, probably due to lack of concentration. Pacsirta enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 63 percent of possession.

Pogoń33's best player was Z. Hyź. However, A. Bacia made a disastrous appearance. The most dominating Pacsirta player was without a doubt A. Leconte. J. Waligóra was a disappointment, however. The match ends 0 - 3.
