Si were mostly trying to use their skill at attacking on the flanks. Gladzkie broke through on the left 2 minutes into the game, with W. Popis firing in from an acute angle to give the home side a 1 - 0 lead. Si's P. Shepityak left the field after 24 minutes because of a nasty blow to the shin. His replacement was W. Ruczyński. Given a free kick in a difficult position after 33 minutes, Si tried a variation that they had practised in training. The kick was sent into the area just in front of the keeper. However, the defence were on their toes and allowed no space for a finish. T. Wojtanowski came close to levelling the score 37 minutes into the game, as he was set up with a through ball coming in from the left, but his shot hit the post. With 40 minutes played, G. Ciotucha came in from the right and could have evened the score, but the defenders successfully repelled the attack by Si. It was 1 - 0 at the break. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Si, with 59 percent of the ball.

Gladzkie's J. Szpala had an excellent opportunity after 54 minutes, shooting after receiving a pass from the right hand side, but he missed the goal by miles! A. Ładziak finished off a quick charge from the left of the field by chipping the ball just past the home side's keeper, making the score 1 - 1 83 minutes into the match. Si's A. Ładziak gave the visitors a 1 - 2 lead after 85 minutes with a superb strike from the right. 87 minutes in, Gladzkie's G. Żuczkowski received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. W. Most important Gladzkie player was W. Popis. E. Górniak on the other hand, had a terrible day. P. Kmiecik performed admirably for Si. On the other hand, W. Ruczyński's play was disheartening. The match ends 1 - 2.
