A brilliantly sunny day had enticed a crowd of 7460 to ORZEŁ KAMPINOS Arena. Gwenegan Bouzou was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Antonio Puch and Ingo-Lutz Saxena. KAMPINOS decided to use a 4-5-1 set up. The following players took the field: Göthe - Ninni, Freire, Kopecki, Hadas - Broome, Garlinger, Pielech, Broniarczyk, Hangen - Nalepka.

Polania tactics involved an interesting 4-4-2 combination. Lineup: Grabarek - Boczek, Abramek, Gardynik, Buńkowski - Wszelaki, Hardej, Prochowicz, Szramek - Kołeczko, Dominikowski.

KAMPINOS tried to focus their attacks down the middle. The guests took the lead 4 minutes into the match, after a right-side attack resulted in Z. Boczek scoring to make it 0 - 1. KAMPINOS were awarded a penalty with 21 minutes played, and E. Kopecki made no mistake as he effortlessly slotted the equaliser home. 1 - 1. 34 minutes in, Polania's T. Kołeczko received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. Making his way up the middle 36 minutes into the match, E. Kopecki almost managed to squeeze a goal past the visitors' keeper, but the alert B. Grabarek blocked it to keep the score level. F. Broniarczyk enjoyed the sunshine and demonstrated his stunning technique over and over again. After 38 minutes, Polania put themselves up 1 - 2, as F. Prochowicz finished off a strike from the left with a real cannonball of a shot. KAMPINOS tried to even things up by sending a long ball towards the centrally placed strikers, but the visitors' defence got the best of this rather direct style of play. F. Broome's early cross saw the defenders caught out of position and the alert M. Nalepka was able to pounce and roll the ball past the hapless goalkeeper to score for KAMPINOS. 2 - 2. KAMPINOS created a good opportunity to score 41 minutes into the match when J. Hangen's hooked ball from the left created a scuffle in front of the goal, and the visitors' defenders had a hard time clearing the ball. 2 - 2 was the halftime score. KAMPINOS enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 67 percent of possession.

M. Freire would have preferred to play on, but his coach decided otherwise. A. Husejko entered the game for KAMPINOS as the match clock showed 46 minutes. After 50 minutes, the KAMPINOS coach wanted to see a new face on the pitch, waving M. Nalepka off the field. H. Khatib took his place. After several obvious shirt pulling incidents, F. Prochowicz got himself booked. The manager of Polania was not happy. After 51 minutes a well-practised indirect free kick routine by KAMPINOS was easily anticipated by the defenders. The players forward were so well marked, they were left with few viable options. It was obvious that team KAMPINOS had instructions to attack in the middle instead of on the wings. As the 68 minute mark approached, the KAMPINOS coach decided it was time for a substitution. J. Hangen reluctantly made way for T. Wojewnik on the pitch. The referee signaled a penalty for the home side after 70 minutes, amid vocal protests from the visitors. KAMPINOS fans erupted in celebration as E. Kopecki rifled the ball into the the top corner. 3 - 2! Polania's Z. Boczek was shown a yellow card for standing over the ball and blocking an opponent's quick free kick after 71 minutes. After 76 minutes, a deliberate handball from Polania's T. Kołeczko was judged to be his second bookable offence, and he was sent off. 77 minutes into the game, KAMPINOS were awarded a penalty that E. Kopecki turned into 4 - 2 without a problem. At that, E. Kopecki was noted down for a hat trick! Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by KAMPINOS, with 72 percent of the ball.

H. Khatib performed admirably for KAMPINOS. K. Ninni turned in a dismal performance, however. Most important Polania player was D. Szramek. On the other hand, S. Gardynik's play was disheartening. The match ends 4 - 2.
