Gutek Arena.
Thomas Odland was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Diego Urta Scola and
Laurent Lacombe.
A 4-4-2 alignment was the formation of choice for Bydgoszcz.

It was an obvious ambition of Bydgoszcz to use their ability at attacking on the flanks.

A. Saenz sailed high above the opponents as he headed in a corner kick from
W. Wachelka after 11 minutes of play, making the score 1 - 1.
J. Witulski had a good try after 14 minutes, coming in on a fine move from the left, but the ball went wide.
M. Zawiła didn't let the weather get him down and made some great moves on the pitch in spite of the rain.
With 26 minutes played, SKOKI's well-worked indirect free kick caused havoc in the penalty area, and when the ball eventually fell to
N. Walsh he gleefully slotted the ball home to make it 1 - 2.
Halftime score was 1 - 2.
SKOKI claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 60 percent.
Bydgoszcz's
J. Maniak was shown a yellow card for standing over the ball and blocking an opponent's quick free kick after 54 minutes.
Bydgoszcz needed a fresh pair of legs on the field, and after 55 minutes
W. Wachelka made way for
K. Czubernat.
Although the whole team were struggling to impress, Bydgoszcz's
J. Hahn was singled out as being the problem as he was called off the pitch after 70 minutes.
T. Rost was given a chance to change things around.
Bydgoszcz were determined to attack on the wing and their central attempts were constantly abandoned in favour of the wings.
Due to some great work on the right wing Bydgoszcz's
J. Lietz was able to even the score after 73 minutes to make the score 2 - 2.
75 minutes into the game, Bydgoszcz wanted to bring some new energy to their game.
Ł. Mikłosik gave
L. Sandomierski a quick hug as he left the field.
A. Shivhon neatly controlled the ball after a short corner, and knocked it on to
J. Witulski who had the whole net open before him, but only managed to hit the post.
After 79 minutes of play,
T. Rost gave the home team a 3 - 2 lead after an attack coming in from the right.
With 80 minutes played, the SKOKI coach decided a substitution may help turn the game around.
J. Pecoustan came on,
J. Witulski had to leave the fray.
M. Zawiła should probably have put his team up another goal after 80 minutes, but some great goalkeeping by
F. Irwansyah kept the visitors in the game.
After several obvious shirt pulling incidents,
N. Walsh got himself booked. The manager of SKOKI was not happy.
Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by SKOKI, with 51 percent of the ball.
C. Zangrossi performed admirably for Bydgoszcz.
M. Zawiła on the other hand, had a terrible day.
Most important SKOKI player was
J. Pecoustan.
On the other hand,
F. Irwansyah's play was disheartening.
