The weather was pretty good, and a crowd of 3347 had shown up at Łabędy Team Arena for the match. After 52 minutes Łabędy's M. Zarczuk contracted a slight foot injury, but didn't want to leave the game. After 55 minutes, the Butterflies coach wanted to see a new face on the pitch, waving P. Lutomski off the field. O. Nuzzo took his place. With the match clock at 62 minutes, Butterflies modified their style of play a little bit. At 64 minutes played, A. Mackiewicz came in from the right with the intention of giving Łabędy the lead, but his rocket of a shot rattled the crossbar.
