It was an obvious ambition of Tytonie to use their ability at attacking on the flanks. Today, Łomża's strategy involved concentrating on the flanks for their attacks. Łomża's W. After 30 minutes, there was a bit of a mixup on the field as Tytonie found themselves out of position and their organisation level dropped to solid. 33 minutes into the match, the speedy W. Pawleta easily outpaced A. Wołek, chipped the keeper and made the score 0 - 1. Łomża's M. Marcassoli made it through the home team's defence on the right hand side 36 minutes into the match. After rounding the keeper, he only had to place the ball in the unguarded goal when a defender slid in and cleared the ball off the line. After 38 minutes, W. Pilawka got through on the right and was very close to equalising for the home side, but didn't get the shot away. B. Jażdżewski of Tytonie received a yellow card after 39 minutes for unsportsmanlike behaviour. Łomża mounted an inspired counterattack down the right wing after 41 minutes, but M. Carpignoli was unable to convert from short range. It was 0 - 1 at the break. Łomża had most of the ball, with 56 percent of possession.

A review of the gameplan helped Tytonie get back to a solid organisation when the referee blew his whistle again. After 50 minutes, a mistake by the home side's left defence allowed O. Huttenlauch to get through. He outclassed the home side's keeper, adding another goal for the visitors. 0 - 2. The referee signalled a penalty 61 minutes into the game following an offence which looked like it was outside the box. E. Adams knocked it home to make the score 0 - 3. The home crowd were delighted when C. Żuławski scored with a header after an attack from the right, making the score 1 - 3. But did he use his hand? That'll be one for the pundits to talk about after the game, that's for sure! 66 minutes into the game, Tytonie seemed to suffer a certain amount of confusion and they fell to a passable level of organisation. 71 minutes into the game, Tytonie seemed a little tentative in their play as their organization fell to inadequate. Tytonie's B. Jażdżewski was dominating his wing and kept sending fine balls into the opposition's box - E. Cano managed to volley one of them into the net to make it 2 - 3 after 75 minutes. Possession in this half belonged to Łomża, who controlled the ball 52 percent of the time.

Tytonie's best player was S. Krystkiewicz. On the other hand, G. Mavrenko's play was disheartening. Most important Łomża player was E. Adams. M. Nowiński was a disappointment, however. The match ends 2 - 3.
