previous 6/10 next 8/10  Cisowa 1 - 1 Śmierci (387684624)

12607 fans braved the pouring rain at Oskar Arena. Aleksander Tomczak was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Rasmus Ericsson and Alberto Martínez. Cisowa tactics involved an interesting 3-4-3 combination. Starters: Bøgelund - Ramp, Massaccesi, Azulay - Goldir, Doll, Taritolay, Urywek - Spoenla, Dorenberg, Leese.

A 3-5-2 alignment was the formation of choice for Śmierci. The following players had been chosen: Pajek - Szęszoł, Lovász, Rade - Casini, Lykke, Lindgren, Kabitana, Vas-Fillado - Sarek, Spring.

Cisowa clearly preferred using their ability to attack in the middle. A. Sarek of Śmierci was able to make an impressive rush past the sluggish M. Ramp, which resulted in a goal making the score 0 - 1. N. Spring could have added one to the visitors' lead if his free kick had gone just a little lower. A tussle 42 minutes into the match resulted in a penalty being awarded to the home team and H. Dorenberg put the ball into the back of the net without any difficulty. That tied the score up at 1 - 1. After 43 minutes, Cisowa's M. Doll fell awkwardly, but was determined to stay in the match. That's the spirit! 43 minutes into the game, Śmierci had difficulty finding their positions and their organisation dropped to solid. 1 - 1 was the score after the first half. Śmierci had most of the ball, with 55 percent of possession.

The Śmierci players spent the break getting a rerun of the team's tactical organisation and regained a solid organisation when the game started again. As the 60 minute mark approached, the Śmierci coach decided it was time for a substitution. V. Lindgren reluctantly made way for L. Rot on the pitch. 68 minutes in, Śmierci appeared unsure on how to play and their organisation was only inadequate. M. Doll was struggling to make the ball dance with his usual trickery and panache, and the opposing players had little trouble shutting him down in these muddy conditions. The referee showed Śmierci's K. Kabitana the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. Due to a severely mistimed tackle, H. Dorenberg of Cisowa spent some time on the grass writhing in agony before he could get up and continue the game. After 83 minutes, there was a bit of a mixup on the field as Śmierci found themselves out of position and their organisation level dropped to poor. Some mind-boggling play by M. Szęszoł almost resulted in a goal for Cisowa, but R. Goldir's shot rebounded off the post. Cisowa claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 58 percent.

Cisowa's best player was M. Ramp. However, F. Urywek made a disastrous appearance. A. Sarek performed admirably for Śmierci. P. Lovász on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 1 - 1.
