Dark skies made the crowd of 10746 at KKS POZNAŃ Arena a little nervous, but the rain held off. Luis Acevedo was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Albano Mendieta and Gustavo Pereira. Everyone was excited about the upcoming Wielkopolskie derby and the crowd was divided evenly. A 4-4-2 alignment was the formation of choice for POZNAŃ. POZNAŃ's B. Dołba was shown a yellow card after 86 minutes for slicing down an opponent. Coming from the right, B. Dołba almost managed to score another goal for POZNAŃ, but his header was tipped over the bar by the visitors' keeper. Ociaz's E. Łączak got himself booked for a foul. Ociaz's J. Meszyński placed the ball right at his teammate's feet after a corner, but S. Rozum couldn't finish. After 89 minutes, POZNAŃ sent a free kick in high over the penalty box. In what looked like a well-rehearsed move, the ball was headed backwards and reached B. Rzeszutek, who had plenty of space to place a well aimed shot - 3 - 0. POZNAŃ had most of the ball, with 63 percent of possession.

POZNAŃ's top performer was clearly D. Junko. On the other hand, D. Maciejewski's play was disheartening. The most dominating Ociaz player was without a doubt G. Rabinovich. J. Adamek turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 3 - 0.
