Więtczak was in the clear after breaking the offside trap following a Ventoria counterattack from the left after 26 minutes. His neat finish made the score 1 - 0. The muddy pitch made the game a gritty affair, which seemed to suit G. Bohdanowicz just fine. Ventoria's M. Filiks was dominating his wing and kept sending fine balls into the opposition's box - J. Mamczak managed to volley one of them into the net to make it 2 - 0 after 30 minutes. A well-placed free kick by SPKS's H. Piter reduced the lead to 2 - 1. The teams went for the halftime break at 2 - 1. Possession in this half belonged to SPKS, who controlled the ball 51 percent of the time.

Things were deteriorating for the away team as Ventoria scored another to make it 3 - 1 after a left side attack resulted in a goal for J. Mamczak after 54 minutes. Ventoria increased the lead as T. Gaszewski struck to make the score 4 - 1 after an attack from the left left him unmarked in front of the keeper. An awe-inspiring free kick by H.
