previous 9/10 next 1/10  Szczecin 0 - 2 Floatersi (388006870)

Fairly good weather for football had drawn a crowd of 8803 to Szczecin United F.C Arena. Shimon Goldstein was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Mathis Wasserfahr and Christoffer Argelsried. Szczecin tactics involved an interesting 4-4-2 combination. Starters: Galicki - Bodziak, Jarguz, Piękoś, Kuliga - Lasko, Rodzik, Kaliski, Bogaczewicz - Bączkiewicz, Golokolosov.

Floatersi started off with a 4-4-2 lineup. The following players took the field: Wylężek - Żołnierek, Pniak, Chremeta, Pilas - Mysza, Doppke, Muchowski, Sadownik - Füllmann, Człapa.

Floatersi showed their counterattack skill 3 minutes into the match by breaking through the middle, with R. Doppke scoring uncontested for 0 - 1. J. Walczyk was called on to replace Szczecin's Ł. Rodzik after 30 minutes following a nasty collision. W. Pniak received some harsh words from his coach after he acted foolishly 34 minutes into the match, probably out of lack of experience, and almost let an opponent score. Szczecin put pressure on the visitors' central defence 37 minutes into the game, but J. Walczyk couldn't find an opening. Szczecin were close to equalising with a spectacular free kick by M. Bodziak after 40 minutes, but D. Wylężek made a great save, tipping it to a corner. Halftime score was 0 - 1. Possession in this half belonged to Szczecin, who controlled the ball 52 percent of the time.

Some fine passing in the middle of the pitch, carving open the away defence, should have led to a goal for Szczecin, but J. Bączkiewicz's shot went over the bar. 60 minutes in, Szczecin's M. Piękoś received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. D. Pilas was the unlucky victim and couldn't continue the game, so Floatersi's P. Pakiet had to come off the bench. After several obvious shirt pulling incidents, P. Pakiet got himself booked. The manager of Floatersi was not happy. The referee showed Szczecin's K. Jarguz the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. 79 minutes into the match, the visitors put themselves ahead 0 - 2 as W. Pniak finished off an attack from the left with a spectacular scissors kick. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Floatersi, with 54 percent of the ball.

The most dominating Szczecin player was without a doubt V. Golokolosov. M. Piękoś was a disappointment, however. Most important Floatersi player was S. Człapa. However, W. Pniak made a disastrous appearance. The match ends 0 - 2.
