previous 4/10 next 6/10  EquineZ 0 - 2 Szczecin (388006875)

It was an exceptionally sunny day for the crowd of 6304 that came out to EquineZ Arena. Yehuda Ratzon was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Siegfried Dastis and Taiki Sotomura. EquineZ started off with a 4-4-2 lineup. Lineup: Machała - Aleksiejew, Kropiewnicki, Wilmański, Nobis - Grzeszczak, Hiendl, Lindner, Andrykowski - Plenzler, Kierul.

Szczecin had chosen a strategic 4-4-2 formation. The following players had been chosen: Galicki - Bodziak, Jarguz, Piękoś, Kuliga - Lasko, Rodzik, Kaliski, Bogaczewicz - Bączkiewicz, Golokolosov.

Szczecin's J. Bączkiewicz left the field after 11 minutes because of a nasty blow to the shin. His replacement was S. Szakiel. Some quick footwork on the left side of the field 13 minutes into the match left Szczecin's M. Kuliga completely free to score. 0 - 1 for the visitors. G. Wilmański enjoyed the sunshine and demonstrated his stunning technique over and over again. Szczecin came close to extending their lead as S. Szakiel delivered a low effort on goal from the right after 29 minutes, but the angle was too narrow and the shot went harmlessly into the side netting. Szczecin's M. Piękoś was shown a yellow card for standing over the ball and blocking an opponent's quick free kick after 32 minutes. With 38 minutes played, Szczecin put themselves up 0 - 2 after an attack from the right, caused by a defensive blunder. The scorer was Ł. Rodzik. After this, you could see that the players of Szczecin were more interested in killing time than scoring more goals. After several obvious shirt pulling incidents, F. Hiendl got himself booked. The manager of EquineZ was not happy. The home side worked their way through the middle and almost got one back when D. Kropiewnicki tried to sneak the ball past the keeper. J. Galicki was too alert for that! 0 - 2 was the score after the first half. Possession in this half belonged to EquineZ, who controlled the ball 53 percent of the time.

L. Andrykowski almost reduced the deficit, having drawn the entire left side defence away, but the shot went straight into the arms of the goalkeeper. 64 minutes in, Szczecin's M. Kaliski received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. S. Szakiel found it hard to catch his breath today in the stifling heat. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by EquineZ, with 54 percent of the ball.

P. Plenzler performed admirably for EquineZ. However, M. Machała made a disastrous appearance. The most dominating Szczecin player was without a doubt Ł. Rodzik. On the other hand, M. Piękoś's play was disheartening. The match ends 0 - 2.
