46362 spectators arrived at Uksus Arena, where weather conditions were pretty good for football. Rasmus Christensen was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Kazimir Romanenkov and Jonas Duvbratt. UZ decided to use a 4-5-1 set up. The visitors' central defence should have had no trouble clearing the pass to S. Tahiraga, but the UZ player managed to shrug them off and fired a low shot past the keeper to give his team the lead. 1 - 0! It was 1 - 0 at the break. Possession in this half belonged to UZ, who controlled the ball 61 percent of the time.

G. Dornheim's name was chanted throughout the stadium after he made a fantastic save from G. Vartanyan's shot from the left 59 minutes into the match. UZ's K. Szablewski placed the ball right at his teammate's feet after a corner, but S. Vaksman couldn't finish. 79 minutes in, UZ's E. Lerman received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. UZ were given a gift! The ref dubiously awarded them a penalty 84 minutes into the match, which was neatly put away by J. Teerlinck. 2 - 0 for the home side. UZ claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 63 percent.

UZ's best player was S. Vaksman. G. Dornheim on the other hand, had a terrible day. G. Vartanyan performed admirably for Tornado. S. Sopko turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 2 - 0.
