It was an exceptionally sunny day for the crowd of 31376 that came out to Avangard Arena. Rémy 'Glatzen-Per' Feret was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Marcus Vinterbrant and Markus Grööngren. (Uzhorod) started off with a 4-5-1 lineup. The following players had been chosen: Mast - Mordeglia, Amirante, Deza, Kepplinger - Schimka, Mora Martín, Navone, Cardoso, Grafanakis - Leal.

A 2-5-3 alignment was the formation of choice for Inter. Starters: Peebles - Mamutov, Kopyl - Amberg, Berman, Pietrowicz, Pipchenko, Ermolenko - Vasile, Holz, Brown.

Inter's N. Vasile got himself booked for a foul. J. Mordeglia of (Uzhorod) had to be helped off the pitch as an injury meant he was unable to finish the game. R. Itshaki came in to finish the match. O. Leal caught everyone off guard with a great opening pass - but unfortunately F. Schimka was as surprised by the move as anybody else, and managed to miss the extraordinary opportunity. 32 minutes had elapsed when a great chance for (Uzhorod) to take the lead after a good cross from the right found A. Navone alone with the keeper, but he chipped it to the wrong side of the post. After 37 minutes, Inter raised their score by one when A. Ermolenko's dangerous low cross was cleverly tucked in at the near post by E. Brown. 0 - 1. After 40 minutes, (Uzhorod) switched O. Leal with R. Bartolomeo, hoping for a quick impact on the pitch. R. Bartolomeo was handed the (Uzhorod) captain's armband. It was 0 - 1 at the break. Possession in this half belonged to Inter, who controlled the ball 51 percent of the time.

As usual, R. Itshaki tried to use his strength and hard work for the benefit of the team, but the heat hit him hard and he couldn't keep pace at all. (Uzhorod)'s B. Kepplinger made a successful breakthrough on the left after 74 minutes and should have levelled the score, but instead he clipped it over the bar. After 77 minutes, an incisive pass through the middle gave M. Berman a chance to increase the lead for Inter, and he did not disappoint. The score was then 0 - 2. R. Deza tried to get a goal back for (Uzhorod) but despite all his hard work down the right, he just couldn't complete the move. (Uzhorod) enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 53 percent of possession.

(Uzhorod)'s top performer was clearly A. Mora Martín. R. Itshaki was a disappointment, however. Inter's best player was E. Brown. However, J. Peebles made a disastrous appearance. The match ends 0 - 2.
