Claren suddenly found himself free in the middle of the box with only the keeper to beat, but he misjudged the finish, and only managed to hit the bar. After 10 minutes, the defensive line of CrazyGirls created a counterattack through the middle that gave K. Marivoet a good look at the goal, but his shot glanced harmlessly off the crossbar. CrazyGirls's K. Claren left the field after 14 minutes because of a nasty blow to the shin. His replacement was T. Tayama. With 17 minutes played, L. Domosławski could have brought this one home for Cokup9ihu as he charged up on the left, but his hooked ball went just a bit too high. Cokup9ihu's O. Danyukin somehow missed a penalty 23 minutes into the match, much to the crowd's displeasure. 1 - 0 was the halftime score. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Cokup9ihu, with 65 percent of the ball.

K. Marivoet's speed was clear to see after 67 minutes, as he darted down the wing and released J. Poussard who placed the ball into the back of the net to make the score 1 - 1. Cokup9ihu had a good opportunity to take the lead as M. Deplano came up the left side, but he struck the ball weakly and it went straight into the arms of J. Poussin. CrazyGirls almost scored after a counterattack 86 minutes into the match, but A. Špirkauskas took a shot from the left that landed harmlessly in the side of the net. Cokup9ihu had a good opportunity to attack in the middle, but remembered their instructions to focus on wing attacks instead. After 89 minutes of play, T. Picard gave the home team a 2 - 1 lead after an attack coming in from the right. Cokup9ihu claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 65 percent.
