It was obvious that Light_Cats had instructions to attack on the wings instead of in the middle. 35 minutes into the match, the visitors put themselves ahead 0 - 5 as A. Heilbronn finished off an attack from the left with a spectacular scissors kick. It was 0 - 5 at the break. Possession in this half belonged to Light_Cats, who controlled the ball 79 percent of the time.

Light_Cats increased their lead after 47 minutes when W. Dijksman broke through on the right, upping the score to 0 - 6, much to the home crowd's dismay. R. Narbona could have added one to the visitors' lead if his free kick had gone just a little lower. An indecisive keeper looked on as a free kick by Light_Cats's R. Narbona put the visitors up 0 - 7 after 59 minutes. By then R. Narbona had scored three goals - a hat trick! The visitors' A. Heilbronn took advantage of a misunderstanding between the home side's goalie and centre backs 61 minutes into the match. 0 - 8 for Light_Cats. Kosmos's N. Yesyp got himself booked for a foul. W. Dijksman came close to extending the visitors' lead when he found himself completely unmarked in front of the goal after a pass through the middle. He tried to lift the ball over N. Skripka but overcooked it and hit the bar instead. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Light_Cats, with 82 percent of the ball.

The most dominating Kosmos player was without a doubt P. Pyrogov. N. Skripka was a disappointment, however. Light_Cats's best player was M. Potapov. On the other hand, S. Šuletić's play was disheartening. The match ends 0 - 8.
