Clouds darkened the skies at Borsad Arena as 7581 spectators turned up for the match. Valērijs Ausainis was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Ottó Gyulay and Svyatopolk Belikov. Repik of Borsad fell dramatically just outside the penalty area. However, the referee was unimpressed, and booked him for diving. One of many good crosses from H. Paulukevich on the wing was received and skillfully taken care of by I. Bucur, who scored for Alexey-agro. 0 - 2 Had it not been for one of the home defenders, I. Bucur would have put Alexey-agro up another goal 11 minutes into the match with his audacious lob from the right wing. The referee showed Borsad's J. Haradzenski the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. T. Chalot of Alexey-agro took advantage of a mistake on the home side's right after 28 minutes which increased the away team's lead to 0 - 3. 0 - 3 was the score after the first half. Alexey-agro claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 62 percent.

The home side worked their way through the middle and almost got one back when A. Bareyka tried to sneak the ball past the keeper. M. Radzevicz was too alert for that! A drive down the left side allowed J. García de Segovia to get in close and score another goal for Alexey-agro after 53 minutes, taking the score to 0 - 4. Alexey-agro came close to extending their lead as M. Markijanau delivered a low effort on goal from the right after 54 minutes, but the angle was too narrow and the shot went harmlessly into the side netting. The visitors' H. Trakehnen took advantage of a misunderstanding between the home side's goalie and centre backs 58 minutes into the match. 0 - 5 for Alexey-agro. Confident in their lead, Alexey-agro's players relaxed and focused more on defending the lead than increasing it. 68 minutes into the game, Alexey-agro worked the left side industriously creating several opportunities to add to their lead, but just couldn't apply the finishing touch. 69 minutes were showing on the scoreboard when Borsad's Z. Repik received his second yellow card and was sent off. Alexey-agro increased their lead after 74 minutes when Y. Khayrulov broke through on the right, upping the score to 0 - 6, much to the home crowd's dismay. Alexey-agro enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 68 percent of possession.

Borsad's top performer was clearly A. Kaczała. S. Piatlitski was a disappointment, however. Alexey-agro's best player was H. Trakehnen. M. Radzevicz on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 0 - 6.
