Avdibegović put his head to a well placed ball, lifted in from the left, and scored to make the score 1 - 1 with 10 minutes showing on the scoreboard clock. Maximus had a good opportunity to take the lead as R. Knitschke came up the left side, but he struck the ball weakly and it went straight into the arms of B. Mårtensson. Maximus were very close to putting themselves one up after 14 minutes as R. Biró got through on the left, but failing in concentration, he shot the ball wide. Maximus took the lead after 18 minutes as a result of R. Biró's peach of a shot from the right hand side of the box - placed beautifully in the top corner. 2 - 1. Maximus solidified their lead at the 20 minute mark, as P. Zaczkiewicz dribbled the ball through the opposing central defence and scored to make it 3 - 1. 3 - 1 was the score after the first half. Maximus had most of the ball, with 67 percent of possession.

Maximus were given a gift! The ref dubiously awarded them a penalty 51 minutes into the match, which was neatly put away by L. Bart. 4 - 1 for the home side. The players of Maximus now seemed to think the job was done and acted more defensively, just waiting for the ref to blow the final whistle. Things were deteriorating for the away team as Maximus scored another to make it 5 - 1 after a left side attack resulted in a goal for J. Baquio after 68 minutes. Maximus's R. Biró got himself booked for a foul. Possession in this half belonged to Maximus, who controlled the ball 67 percent of the time.

Most important Maximus player was T. Nurminen. R. Biró on the other hand, had a terrible day. HBA's top performer was clearly R. Ferreres. On the other hand, B. Mårtensson's play was disheartening. The match ends 5 - 1.
