Sánchez got left behind when HBA's D. Falkenland made a sudden run forward after 23 minutes, finishing off with a neat strike. 2 - 0! Asarna reduced the lead after 25 minutes to 2 - 1 as S. Marin easily chipped the ball past the home side's keeper after a dazzling play from the right. The teams went for the halftime break at 2 - 1. HBA claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 51 percent.

HBA put in a good effort on the right, but R. Ferreres saw his volley fly wide of the mark 49 minutes into the game. A magnificent combination in the middle resulted in HBA's F. Allegri increasing the lead to 3 - 1. Ater 65 minutes B. Ligtvoet seized on an opportunistic attack from the right, and scored for Asarna making it 3 - 2. D. Falkenland made a nice dash down the wing after 66 minutes, but was unable to get the cross into the box. A goal kick was awarded. This part of the game was a standoff between the teams in terms of possession.

HBA's best player was R. Ferreres. On the other hand, D. Čerina's play was disheartening. Asarna's top performer was clearly A. Persson. S. Seidl was a disappointment, however. The match ends 3 - 2.
