The 43520 fans in attendance at Glädjehuset were roasting in the hot sun. Pierre-Jean Vuong was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Julio Elguezabal and David Aillaud. Tranan demonstrated their creative tactics on the field. With 6 minutes played, the home side managed to get a 1 - 0 lead as J. Moragues flipped the ball in after a cross from the right. With 7 minutes played, Spelad put themselves up 2 - 0 when the visiting defenders lost the ball to B. Kullenér, who came up from the left and proceeded to coolly round the keeper and knock the ball home. Spelad put themselves up 3 - 0 when B. Kullenér broke through on the right, leaving the entire defence trailing in his wake. By now, the players in Spelad felt that victory was guaranteed and began to play it safe, focusing on defence and not risking too much going forward. It was a hot and sunny day, and several players seemed worn out. Maybe this was why J. Moragues found an unusual amount of space for his snappy footwork. 3 - 0 was the score after the first half. Spelad claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 58 percent.

As usual, D. Zsidai tried to use his strength and hard work for the benefit of the team, but the heat hit him hard and he couldn't keep pace at all. Cheers filled the stadium as B. Wickblad broke through the visitors' central defence to put away the ball to increase the lead to 4 - 0 to Spelad. L. Lennartsson wasn't much help defensively. His energy-consuming forward runs proved quite costly in the oppressive heat. Tranan needed a fresh pair of legs on the field, and after 75 minutes B. Pettersson made way for B. Forssjö. A great save by keeper T. Fröblom after 75 minutes kept the visitors in the game after B. Kullenér struck from the left with a real cannonball. 76 minutes into the match, the visitors' central line of defence had to look on as E. Blomling broke through, making the score 5 - 0 for Spelad. Spelad's B. Kullenér was shown a yellow card for standing over the ball and blocking an opponent's quick free kick after 77 minutes. In a rapid move 80 minutes into the match, N. Tungbratt of Spelad lost his man and passed the ball to the unmarked S. Kanstrup who easily hit it home to make it 6 - 0. Luckily the ref didn't see him taunting the opposing fans in celebration - naughty boy! Ater 84 minutes T. Hollak seized on an opportunistic attack from the right, and scored for Tranan making it 6 - 1. With 85 minutes played, S. Kanstrup could have brought this one home for Spelad as he charged up on the left, but his hooked ball went just a bit too high. Spelad enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 55 percent of possession.

Spelad's best player was J. Moragues. D. Ekenstad turned in a dismal performance, however. Tranan's top performer was clearly D. Zsidai. L. Lennartsson was a disappointment, however. The match ends 6 - 1.
