A scorching day at Suderbys Islanders Arena, where 41017 spectators were in place for today's match. Hurşit Karakaya was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Johnny Mangin and Giuliano Di Fazio. Islanders started off with a 3-4-3 lineup. Islanders's M. Fridér swung in a good chance from the left, but the visitors' defence were able to clear the ball. Dala-Järna's S. Gerrits left the field after 79 minutes because of a nasty blow to the shin. His replacement was L. Garnier. M. Nikačević had a fantastic opportunity to put Islanders up another goal 85 minutes into the match, but he fired just over the crossbar. With 87 minutes played, Islanders's L. Larsson almost extended the lead, but his shot from the left glanced off the top of the bar to fall behind the net. M. Nikačević's technique was perfect on this sunny day and led to some breathtaking tricks that bamboozled the defence. Islanders claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 54 percent.

Islanders's best player was S. Tuvbom. C. Lindér turned in a dismal performance, however. Most important Dala-Järna player was J. Torsson. However, L. Garnier made a disastrous appearance. The match ends 1 - 0.
