Tuga 3 - 1 Q-West (388108707)

Clouds darkened the skies at Tuga zone as 35937 spectators turned up for the match. Lois Alma Tadema was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Jens-Ulf Duschek and Emmanuel Pays. Tuga started off with a 3-5-2 lineup. They fielded: Simões - Fonseca, Garçoa, Caminha - Peneda, Simões Freitas, Carvalho, Barroco, Valadas - Odemira, Liberato.

Q-West had chosen a strategic 2-5-3 formation. Lineup: Danieli - Vidal, Malpaso - Pfeiffer, Meyer, Mendy, Naustvik, Lenormand - Johnston, Pinedo, Gullblom.

Tuga created a good opportunity to score 16 minutes into the match when V. Odemira's hooked ball from the left created a scuffle in front of the goal, and the visitors' defenders had a hard time clearing the ball. Tuga broke through on the left 17 minutes into the game, with M. Valadas firing in from an acute angle to give the home side a 1 - 0 lead. A penalty 19 minutes into the game gave the home side a chance at adding to the score, but an overconfident F. Fonseca shot the ball wide trying to put it away in the top corner. Tuga's E. Simões Freitas got himself booked for a foul. The player down was B. Gullblom. The Q-West bench looked worried for a while, but in the end he managed to get up. With 27 minutes played, V. Odemira could have brought this one home for Tuga as he charged up on the left, but his hooked ball went just a bit too high. 1 - 0 was the halftime score. Possession in this half belonged to Tuga, who controlled the ball 52 percent of the time.

A great save by keeper E. Danieli after 51 minutes kept the visitors in the game after H. Liberato struck from the left with a real cannonball. 54 minutes into the game Q-West's B. Gullblom found a gap in the home side's central defence and scored with a fabulous shot, making it 1 - 1. Tuga made a bid to take the lead as a ball coming in on the right hand side left M. Valadas completely alone with keeper E. Danieli, who made a spectacular block. 62 minutes into the match, a typically brave header by V. Odemira from A. Peneda's cross looped just over the opposing goalkeeper's desperate reach. Goal for Tuga, making the score 2 - 1. M. Valadas increased the lead for Tuga to 3 - 1, getting a head onto a hooked ball from the right. The ball looked to have taken a deflection on the way in, but he's claiming it! Tuga had most of the ball, with 51 percent of possession.

Tuga's top performer was clearly H. Liberato. A. Barroco turned in a dismal performance, however. The most dominating Q-West player was without a doubt B. Johnston. However, P. Lenormand made a disastrous appearance. The match ends 3 - 1.
