previous 2/10 next 4/10  Tuna 3 - 1 Sållers BK (388112918)

Overcast weather free of rain made for a crowd turnout of 24345 at Tuna Stadium today. Adrien Le Duc was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Viljo Furuholm and Anders Mörnman. Tuna decided to use a 3-5-2 set up. The following players had been chosen: Flodskär - Carlsson, Damjanović, Dan - Fjelfeldt, Runesson, Feicht, Kullenér, Arroyo - Crongren, Keijer.

Sållers BK had chosen a strategic 2-5-3 formation. The following players took the field: D'Joos - Gedlichka, Trieglaff - Williams, Brodák, Szigeti, Warnholz, Brakstad - Stjernhall, Jensen, Vikman.

C. Keijer's lightning pace was too much for F. Trieglaff who could only look on as the Tuna player blasted one home. 1 - 0. With 19 minutes played, P. Fjelfeldt of Tuna fell dramatically just outside the penalty area. However, the referee was unimpressed, and booked him for diving. G. Arroyo had a fantastic opportunity to put Tuna up another goal 22 minutes into the match, but he fired just over the crossbar. J. Hörhult was called on to replace Tuna's J. Flodskär after 25 minutes following a nasty collision. Z. Szigeti of Sållers BK was booked for kicking the ball away after the whistle. The opposing supporters gave the referee an earful when he only gave A. Jensen from Sållers BK a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 32 minutes into the game. That was far too lenient! After 39 minutes, Tuna's E. Carlsson fell awkwardly, but was determined to stay in the match. That's the spirit! 1 - 0 was the score after the first half. Tuna claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 61 percent.

Sållers BK's L. Stjernhall got himself booked for a foul. Tuna were forced into a substitution as J. Runesson couldn't continue due to some rough treatment, forcing O. Tuvwald to come in off the bench. The home team will be cursing E. Brodák for weeks; he finished off a great pass from the left, knocking it past the keeper without a problem. The match was level at 1 - 1 after 54 minutes. The visitors' central defence should have had no trouble clearing the pass to E. Carlsson, but the Tuna player managed to shrug them off and fired a low shot past the keeper to give his team the lead. 2 - 1! With 76 minutes played, Tuna put themselves up 3 - 1 when the visiting defenders lost the ball to C. Keijer, who came up from the left and proceeded to coolly round the keeper and knock the ball home. After this, you could see that the players of Tuna were more interested in killing time than scoring more goals. Possession in this half belonged to Tuna, who controlled the ball 58 percent of the time.

Tuna's best player was K. Kullenér. J. Hörhult was a disappointment, however. The most dominating Sållers BK player was without a doubt A. Jensen. However, S. Williams made a disastrous appearance. The match ends 3 - 1.
