The visitors didn't give in and, after 38 minutes, D. Ramajo got through the home side's central line of defence, rolling in the equaliser to make it 2 - 2. 2 - 2 was the score after the first half. lions enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 56 percent of possession.

With the match clock at 53 minutes, Nobby modified their style of play a little bit. The visitors' central defence should have had no trouble clearing the pass to P. Öhrgren, but the lions player managed to shrug them off and fired a low shot past the keeper to give his team the lead. 3 - 2! The visitors kept the pressure on to tie the game when, after 62 minutes, I. Waxman broke through the centre and found himself alone with the keeper. P. Rauschning made a great block, though. Things were deteriorating for the away team as lions scored another to make it 4 - 2 after a left side attack resulted in a goal for G. Furci after 69 minutes. lions had to make a substitution after 71 minutes. R. Ahlér limped off the field and was replaced by R. Domb. The Nobby players listened closely to their manager, as he gave new tactical instructions for the team. R. Herfeldt of lions was booked for kicking the ball away after the whistle. lions had most of the ball, with 54 percent of possession.

lions's top performer was clearly P. Rauschning. R. Herfeldt on the other hand, had a terrible day. Nobby's best player was I. Waxman. However, G. Hainzl made a disastrous appearance. The match ends 4 - 2.
