Eggink managed a superb strike from the left after 62 minutes that would have left goalkeeper N. Vervecken without a chance, had it not hit the post. It was obvious that Axiom had instructions to attack on the wings instead of in the middle. Axiom increased their lead after 68 minutes when A. Kioulekas broke through on the right, upping the score to 0 - 4, much to the home crowd's dismay. By now, the players in Axiom felt that victory was guaranteed and began to play it safe, focusing on defence and not risking too much going forward. Uppsala had to make a substitution after 72 minutes. O. Hotarinen limped off the field and was replaced by T. Carlsson. With 76 minutes played, Axiom put themselves up 0 - 5 after an attack from the right, caused by a defensive blunder. The scorer was G. Salaorni. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Axiom, with 65 percent of the ball.

H. Storm performed admirably for Uppsala. F. Matsson was a disappointment, however. Axiom's best player was N. Vervecken. On the other hand, E. Menéndez's play was disheartening. The match ends 0 - 5.
