hit&run started off with a 3-5-2 lineup. They fielded: Szabó - Shirazky, Rubinat, da Parafita - Jakubik, Cabral, Bottura, Saburit, Strano - Poupě, Weinans.

The terraces were silenced after 18 minutes when hit&run's A. Saburit put the guests ahead 0 - 1, following an attack on the right. A. Del Gaudio was uncomfortable with the soggy pitch as he couldn't move the ball around with his usual grace. After 31 minutes a combination in the middle resulted in a through ball for R. Poupě who increased hit&run's lead to 0 - 2. The players of hit&run now seemed to think the job was done and acted more defensively, just waiting for the ref to blow the final whistle. A. Klintājs didn't let the weather get him down and made some great moves on the pitch in spite of the rain. A marvellous D.G.G effort on the right-hand side resulted in a goal after 36 minutes by S. Šelepský, making the score 1 - 2. Halftime score was 1 - 2. Possession in this half belonged to hit&run, who controlled the ball 57 percent of the time.

D.G.G mounted an inspired counterattack down the right wing after 50 minutes, but S. Šelepský was unable to convert from short range. Some fine passing in the middle of the pitch, carving open the away defence, should have led to a goal for D.G.G, but T. Collantes's shot went over the bar. After 71 minutes, hit&run's M. Jakubik burst through the central defence and let loose a cannonball of a shot, scoring for 1 - 3. hit&run claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 59 percent.

D.G.G's best player was A. Klintājs. D. Nabiza on the other hand, had a terrible day. A. Saburit performed admirably for hit&run. A. Rubinat turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 1 - 3.
