Kurravaara 5 - 4 Hunnebo (388174745)

30745 spectators arrived at Vedbacken, where weather conditions were pretty good for football. Lucjan Sznaucner was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Oscar Louchart and Micha Augustin. Kurravaara tactics involved an interesting 3-4-3 combination. The following players had been chosen: Olsson - Vizela, Gullmar, Tutunaru - Maoto, Olsson, Fredriksson, Savonjousi - Lyhmar, Danielsson, Andersson.

Hunnebo had chosen a strategic 3-5-2 formation. Starters: Bessembinders - Vick, Hegedűs, Statti - Piñeiro, Palmas, Tenreiro, Bendixen, Affan - Kiehm, Matarrodona.

Kurravaara tried to focus their attacks down the middle. The wings were the focus of most of Hunnebo's attacks today. Kurravaara had a chance to take the lead after B. Olsson's dazzling drive up the left, but the opportunity fizzled out as his shot went just over the bar after 12 minutes. It was obvious that Hunnebo had instructions to attack on the wings instead of in the middle. After 24 minutes, Hunnebo put themselves up 0 - 1, as K. Hegedűs finished off a strike from the left with a real cannonball of a shot. After 31 minutes of play, R. Danielsson evened things up for Kurravaara with an impressive goal coming up the middle. 1 - 1. After 35 minutes, Hunnebo's F. Kiehm made his way through the middle and nonchalantly placed the ball out of the keeper's reach, putting the visitors up 1 - 2. After 37 minutes, A. Andersson made a dash down the middle past the away team's defenders to score the goal that made it 2 - 2. Kurravaara's R. Danielsson was shown a yellow card after 38 minutes for slicing down an opponent. Hunnebo had a good opportunity to attack in the middle, but remembered their instructions to focus on wing attacks instead. Some quick footwork on the left side of the field 39 minutes into the match left Hunnebo's B. Matarrodona completely free to score. 2 - 3 for the visitors. The visitors' N. Piñeiro took advantage of a misunderstanding between the home side's goalie and centre backs 40 minutes into the match. 2 - 4 for Hunnebo. The teams went for the halftime break at 2 - 4. Kurravaara claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 54 percent.

Kurravaara's fans were urging them forward as they tried to get back into the game, and their vocal support was rewarded 52 minutes into the match as A. Andersson ran onto a beautiful ball played through the visitors' defence and slotted it past the keeper to reduce the deficit. 3 - 4. Kurravaara's B. Vizela left the field after 59 minutes because of a nasty blow to the shin. His replacement was P. Mrzygłód. With a shot curled in from just outside the middle of the penalty area after 71 minutes played, T. Savonjousi of Kurravaara made the score 4 - 4. Kurravaara were determined to attack in the middle, even their wing attacks ended up centrally. The visitors' central defence should have had no trouble clearing the pass to A. Andersson, but the Kurravaara player managed to shrug them off and fired a low shot past the keeper to give his team the lead. 5 - 4! That was his third goal of the match - a hat trick for A. Andersson. Although the whole team were struggling to impress, Hunnebo's B. Matarrodona was singled out as being the problem as he was called off the pitch after 80 minutes. F. Grasser was given a chance to change things around. The bench was restless, and with 82 minutes passed Hunnebo's coach gave B. Mazzocchi the opportunity the player had been hoping for. O. Affan reluctantly left the field. K. Hegedűs could have made it all square after 82 minutes, if only his free kick had been a few inches to the other side of the post. Hunnebo needed a fresh pair of legs on the field, and after 83 minutes F. Bendixen made way for G. Rosell. Hunnebo's B. Mazzocchi was shown a yellow card for standing over the ball and blocking an opponent's quick free kick after 83 minutes. R. Danielsson could have increased the lead after 84 minutes, but his shot hit the post after a nice combination in the middle of the park. Kurravaara had most of the ball, with 54 percent of possession.

Kurravaara's top performer was clearly R. Danielsson. On the other hand, P. Mrzygłód's play was disheartening. Most important Hunnebo player was D. Tenreiro. B. Mazzocchi on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 5 - 4.
