The weather was pretty good, and a crowd of 3649 had shown up at FC Jachrii Arena for the match. Stefansson's dazzling drive up the left, but the opportunity fizzled out as his shot went just over the bar after 13 minutes. 18 minutes into the game, J. Nedertorp was a hair's breadth away from giving Hurricane the lead with a shot from over on the left. A prompt block by G. Henriksson saved the home team that time. The opposing supporters gave the referee an earful when he only gave M. Vrâncean from Hurricane a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 21 minutes into the game. That was far too lenient! 22 minutes into the game, T. Pärnänen almost gave the visitors the lead, as he clipped a delicate lob over the keeper, but the ball glanced harmlessly off the crossbar. It was obvious that Hurricane had instructions to attack on the wings instead of in the middle. Some good play on the left wing created an opportunity for the visitors 33 minutes into the match, and J. Nedertorp wasn't about to let it go by. He got past the defenders and fired a shot that the keeper just missed. 0 - 1 for the visitors. With 36 minutes played, H. Norrell nearly put the visitors another one up as he broke through in the middle and fired from just outside the box, but his shot passed just over the bar. Jachrii had to make a substitution after 37 minutes. E. Stefansson limped off the field and was replaced by T. Hjertstad. 0 - 1 was the halftime score. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Hurricane, with 68 percent of the ball.

65 minutes into the match, the visitors put themselves ahead 0 - 2 as H. Norrell finished off an attack from the left with a spectacular scissors kick. With 73 minutes played, Hurricane put themselves up 0 - 3 after an attack from the right, caused by a defensive blunder. The scorer was J. Nedertorp. After 77 minutes a combination in the middle resulted in a through ball for T. Pärnänen who increased Hurricane's lead to 0 - 4. At this point, it was obvious that the players of Hurricane lowered the tempo and became more defensively oriented. J. Svensson increased the visitors' lead by putting a volley away after a pass from the right. 0 - 5. The referee showed Jachrii's C. Karlsson the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. Due to a severely mistimed tackle, J. Svensson of Hurricane spent some time on the grass writhing in agony before he could get up and continue the game. Hurricane claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 72 percent.

Jachrii's best player was T. Tegsjö. O. Gustavsson turned in a dismal performance, however. Most important Hurricane player was H. Norrell. M. Thorgård was a disappointment, however. The match ends 0 - 5.
