Going for long shots seemed to be the strategy in use by Pojkarna. A mistake by the home side's central defence after 7 minutes allowed A. Krimp to score for Ängåsen. The scoreboard now read 0 - 1. With 18 minutes played, a quick exchange of passes on the left wing freed A. Scherrer of Ängåsen to slip through the defence and score another goal for the visitors. That made the score 0 - 2. The Ängåsen free kick 19 minutes into the match seemed wasted, as the shot was both short and off target. But was this actually a plan? The ball landed at the feet of P. Zamboni, who was completely unmarked in the box. That's 0 - 3! Almost all the way down to the corner flag, Ängåsen's P. Zamboni somehow managed to get a perfect pass into the middle, impossible to miss for C. Lijó, who struck for 0 - 4. Confident in their lead, Ängåsen's players relaxed and focused more on defending the lead than increasing it. Ängåsen increased their lead after 37 minutes when L. Peleg broke through on the right, upping the score to 0 - 5, much to the home crowd's dismay. Ängåsen's L. Peleg made it through the home team's defence on the right hand side 38 minutes into the match. After rounding the keeper, he only had to place the ball in the unguarded goal when a defender slid in and cleared the ball off the line. Halftime score was 0 - 5. Possession in this half belonged to Ängåsen, who controlled the ball 79 percent of the time.

The visitors' A. Katalin took advantage of a misunderstanding between the home side's goalie and centre backs 47 minutes into the match. 0 - 6 for Ängåsen. After 49 minutes, Ängåsen's T. Repo burst through the central defence and let loose a cannonball of a shot, scoring for 0 - 7. Ängåsen came close to extending their lead as J. Mena delivered a low effort on goal from the right after 65 minutes, but the angle was too narrow and the shot went harmlessly into the side netting. Pojkarna will have to do without F. Lejczak had an excellent opportunity to add to the visitors' lead, clipping a volley hooked in from the right, but H. Spångberg was in the right place and tipped the ball over for a corner. The home crowd was not impressed when A. Krimp came in from the right, shooting hard to score after 81 minutes. Ängåsen were now up 0 - 8. Ängåsen had most of the ball, with 76 percent of possession.

J. Ingemarsson performed admirably for Pojkarna. H. Spångberg was a disappointment, however. The most dominating Ängåsen player was without a doubt A. Krimp. However, L. Matsson made a disastrous appearance. The match ends 0 - 8.
