Clouds darkened the skies at Constant Vanden Stockstadion as 40383 spectators turned up for the match. Van Herp was the unlucky victim and couldn't continue the game, so RSCA's J. De Moor had to come off the bench. After 43 minutes X. Rademakers could have reduced the lead with a blistering strike from the left wing, had it not been for an excellent block by the visitors' keeper. The teams went for the halftime break at 0 - 2. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Metalerke, with 57 percent of the ball.

After 48 minutes, X. Rademakers had a good opportunity to reduce the scoreline for RSCA with a chance created through the middle, but wasn't cool enough. The ball went miles over the bar. Metalerke claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 54 percent.

Most important RSCA player was E. Spletinckx. J. De Moor was a disappointment, however. The most dominating Metalerke player was without a doubt G. Ruperti. However, F. Algoet made a disastrous appearance. The match ends 0 - 2.
