Schokkaert of Haletra seemed to be floating in the air as he elegantly headed in to make the score 1 - 0 after a corner kick that was nicely executed by I. Grozavu. Haletra increased the lead as G. Croce struck to make the score 2 - 0 after an attack from the left left him unmarked in front of the keeper. With 22 minutes played, Haletra's J. Pizarro almost extended the lead, but his shot from the left glanced off the top of the bar to fall behind the net. A magnificent combination in the middle resulted in Haletra's M. Rodi increasing the lead to 3 - 0. Haletra had a good opportunity to attack in the middle, but remembered their instructions to focus on wing attacks instead. A great save by keeper G. Simões Santos after 36 minutes kept the visitors in the game after E. Schokkaert struck from the left with a real cannonball. Halftime score was 3 - 0. Lambermont claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 55 percent.

M. Markko wasn't much help defensively. His energy-consuming forward runs proved quite costly in the oppressive heat. Lambermont's V. Janssens got himself booked for a foul. D. Rapaccioli nearly reduced the lead 69 minutes into the game, but a splendid one-handed save by G. Cambier prevented the attempt coming in from the right flank from hitting the back of the net. I. Grozavu's technique was perfect on this sunny day and led to some breathtaking tricks that bamboozled the defence. The visitors got a chance to pulling one back after 82 minutes, due to a defensive blunder leaving J. Camino completely unmarked. His strike was pathetic though, easy prey for the home side's keeper. The referee showed Lambermont's M. Braekevelt the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. 85 minutes in, Lambermont's J. Camino received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. M. Rodi of Haletra had to be helped off the pitch as an injury meant he was unable to finish the game. W. De Groof came in to finish the match. Lambermont had most of the ball, with 54 percent of possession.

Most important Haletra player was N. Jamilio. E. Schokkaert on the other hand, had a terrible day. The most dominating Lambermont player was without a doubt V. Janssens. However, G. Simões Santos made a disastrous appearance. The match ends 3 - 0.
