Fitsilis broke through. S. Gillès de Pélichy continued to stifle them, however, as he made the save look easy. Coming from the right, G. Þorvaldsson almost managed to score another goal for TAK, but his header was tipped over the bar by the visitors' keeper. It was 3 - 0 at the break. TAK had most of the ball, with 61 percent of possession.

TAK had to make a substitution after 53 minutes. R. Fiol limped off the field and was replaced by M. Groot.
