Overcast weather free of rain made for a crowd turnout of 12603 at De Lichkes Arena today. Vaggos Xilas was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Marlo Perregaux and Federico Bezares. Tanta, making a fantastic play that nearly had chochos take the lead after 4 minutes, but D. Ludgero preserved the tie. After several obvious shirt pulling incidents, T. Grzywna got himself booked. The manager of Lichkes was not happy. M. Prah of Lichkes received a yellow card after 17 minutes for unsportsmanlike behaviour. Central attacks were the recipe of the day for chochos, as they moved the ball from the wings to the middle with startling regularity. 0 - 1 was the score with 19 minutes played, after S. Lhuissier cut through the central defence and chipped home a goal for chochos. No matter how hard he tried, W. Ul-Haq just couldn't get his shot past the visitors' right side defence after 20 minutes. G. Tanta came close to extending the visitors' lead when he found himself completely unmarked in front of the goal after a pass through the middle. He tried to lift the ball over D. Ludgero but overcooked it and hit the bar instead. 0 - 1 was the halftime score. chochos enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 56 percent of possession.

52 minutes into the match, D. Cwikła came through the middle and almost added to his team's lead, but the shot went wide. The opposing supporters gave the referee an earful when he only gave S. Lhuissier from chochos a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 56 minutes into the game. That was far too lenient! Some fine movement on the left led to a chochos goal after 57 minutes, making it 0 - 2. G. Tanta was noted down as the scorer. With 72 minutes played, R. Rajman nearly put the visitors another one up as he broke through in the middle and fired from just outside the box, but his shot passed just over the bar. Lichkes supporters cheered as good work down the right got the ball to L. Hamblok who reduced the visitors' lead after 79 minutes to 1 - 2. After 80 minutes a combination in the middle resulted in a through ball for A. Medrano Ruiz who increased chochos's lead to 1 - 3. Possession in this half belonged to chochos, who controlled the ball 58 percent of the time.

T. Grzywna performed admirably for Lichkes. L. Hamblok on the other hand, had a terrible day. chochos's best player was S. Kontothodoros. D. Cwikła turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 1 - 3.
