11989 punters turned up at Fiesta Loca, and despite threatening clouds on the horizon, no rain came. Stigbjörn Gustavsson was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Viggo Hermansen and León Torrijo. Fiesta001 decided to use a 3-4-3 set up. It was an obvious ambition of Fiesta001 to use their ability at attacking on the flanks. Catharinas had several good opportunities to take the lead, especially 6 minutes in when İ. Artunç came up alone against C. Giordano who managed a block. A. Cunha finished off the counterattack of Fiesta001 from the left rather easily, making the score 1 - 0. Having been awarded a free kick in an awkward position after 32 minutes, Catharinas did not go for a shot but instead fired the ball hard into the 6 yard box. After a brief tussle with his marker, İ. Artunç was able to power the ball past the keeper to make the score 1 - 1. With 36 minutes played, T. Klemenčič of Catharinas fell dramatically just outside the penalty area. However, the referee was unimpressed, and booked him for diving. Given a free kick close to the byline, Catharinas tried a move that loyal fans may recognise from training. A pass to the side pulled the defence out of position which let İ. Artunç slip through on goal. He didn't have to break his stride, and slipped the ball past the keeper to make it 1 - 2, 37 minutes into the game. Fiesta001's G. Purković was shown a yellow card for standing over the ball and blocking an opponent's quick free kick after 38 minutes. Catharinas caught their opponents out with a clever counterattack down the right wing 42 minutes into the match. J. Bouckenooghe was able to finish off the move - 1 - 3. 1 - 3 was the score after the first half. Catharinas enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 55 percent of possession.

After 54 minutes, a mistake by the home side's left defence allowed S. Tishbi to get through. He outclassed the home side's keeper, adding another goal for the visitors. 1 - 4. Fiesta001 supporters cheered as good work down the right got the ball to A. Zafferri who reduced the visitors' lead after 70 minutes to 2 - 4. After 73 minutes of game time, G. Nesim had an excellent opportunity to add to the visitors' lead, clipping a volley hooked in from the right, but C. Giordano was in the right place and tipped the ball over for a corner. Catharinas increased their lead after 78 minutes when G. Nesim broke through on the right, upping the score to 2 - 5, much to the home crowd's dismay. By now, the players in Catharinas felt that victory was guaranteed and began to play it safe, focusing on defence and not risking too much going forward. G. Nesim of Catharinas received a yellow card after 84 minutes for unsportsmanlike behaviour. With the scoreboard showing that 85 minutes had been played, Catharinas nearly put themselves up another goal after J. Bouckenooghe came through on the left. Fortunately for the home crowd, the keeper made the save. Catharinas had most of the ball, with 54 percent of possession.

Most important Fiesta001 player was L. Rittersporn. A. Zafferri was a disappointment, however. G. Nesim performed admirably for Catharinas. T. Klemenčič on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 2 - 5.
