Overcast weather free of rain made for a crowd turnout of 7754 at Home Arena today. Tomáš Mohylák was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Jorn Agatz and Ludger Lanske. azertys tactics involved an interesting 5-4-1 combination. The home crowd was not impressed by the fancy moves of OldSchool's A. Gelabert after 2 minutes. He converted a pass from the left for a goal, resulting in the visitors taking the 0 - 1 lead. 23 minutes into the match, A. Dirollo came through the middle and almost added to his team's lead, but the shot went wide. With the crowd on their feet chanting wildly, some great moves down the right hand side after 24 minutes gave azertys a wonderful opportunity to level the score, and P. Majtán stepped up to the challenge. 1 - 1 Halftime score was 1 - 1. Possession in this half belonged to OldSchool, who controlled the ball 60 percent of the time.

OldSchool's A. Dirollo managed to lose the defenders as he advanced down the right wing and scored, putting the visitors ahead after 52 minutes. 1 - 2. azertys's L. Sárközi was shown a yellow card after 53 minutes for slicing down an opponent. A. Dirollo was the unlucky victim and couldn't continue the game, so OldSchool's J. Götz had to come off the bench. After 63 minutes a combination in the middle resulted in a through ball for A. Gelabert who increased OldSchool's lead to 1 - 3. After 75 minutes, azertys switched Z. Vanlooy with B. Rennen, hoping for a quick impact on the pitch. After 86 minutes of game time, F. Mazars had an excellent opportunity to add to the visitors' lead, clipping a volley hooked in from the right, but F. Tesař was in the right place and tipped the ball over for a corner. After 89 minutes, OldSchool's A. Bliffi burst through the central defence and let loose a cannonball of a shot, scoring for 1 - 4. OldSchool claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 58 percent.

L. Lommelen performed admirably for azertys. F. Tesař was a disappointment, however. Most important OldSchool player was F. Mazars. M. Amiot turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 1 - 4.
