Fairly good weather for football had drawn a crowd of 22025 to Lektro Area. Ameen Al-Ismail was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Hassan Grabellius-Kilian and Boe Nellemann. A 2-5-3 alignment was the formation of choice for Ick@ Team. The following players took the field: Papel - Svensson, Schlie - Persidskiy, Shukor, Horvatin, Gülengöz, Speroni - Mihai, Karakucak, Gibelli.

V.K.B. tactics involved an interesting 3-5-2 combination. The following players had been chosen: Vignard - Durnig, Daniszewski, Kövesfalvi - Luscombe, Therkildsen, Aprishko, Fantozzi, Brys - Rimml, Barasiński.

It was an obvious ambition of Ick@ Team to use their ability at attacking on the flanks. Using their counter-attacking abilities was the strategy of choice for V.K.B.. The celebrations in the stands could only mean one thing - N. Speroni's free kick had found the back of the net and put Ick@ Team ahead 1 - 0! G. Horvatin should probably have put his team up another goal after 19 minutes, but some great goalkeeping by T. Vignard kept the visitors in the game. V.K.B. showed their counterattack skill 20 minutes into the match by breaking through the middle, with S. Brys scoring uncontested for 1 - 1. V.K.B. had to make a substitution after 21 minutes. T. Durnig limped off the field and was replaced by H. Damyanov. V.K.B. had several good opportunities to take the lead, especially 30 minutes in when S. Barasiński came up alone against M. Papel who managed a block. Ick@ Team took the lead after 31 minutes as a result of F. Karakucak's peach of a shot from the right hand side of the box - placed beautifully in the top corner. 2 - 1. A magnificent combination in the middle resulted in Ick@ Team's A. Gibelli increasing the lead to 3 - 1. It was 3 - 1 at the break. Neither team were able to dominate possession this half.

After 46 minutes, V.K.B. switched N. Therkildsen with D. Samadi, hoping for a quick impact on the pitch. A. Kövesfalvi was the new captain of V.K.B. - handed the armband by the departing player. After 48 minutes, the away team failed to deal with a good exchange of passes on the right, and A. Gibelli gave the Ick@ Team supporters even more to cheer about when he increased the lead to 4 - 1. By now, the players in Ick@ Team felt that victory was guaranteed and began to play it safe, focusing on defence and not risking too much going forward. G. Horvatin could have put Ick@ Team up one more, but he fired into the side netting after breaking free on the left after 50 minutes. It was obvious that Ick@ Team had instructions to attack on the wings instead of in the middle. With 56 minutes gone, I. Mihai suddenly found himself completely free on the right wing when a counterattack by Ick@ Team caught their opponents by surprise. Only a great save by the opposing keeper prevented him from scoring. Although the whole team were struggling to impress, V.K.B.'s I. Aprishko was singled out as being the problem as he was called off the pitch after 66 minutes. S. Supančič was given a chance to change things around. 77 minutes in, an amazing pass from the left side resulted in a goal for the visitors, as C. Rimml anticipated the through ball and scored, reducing the deficit to 4 - 2. The visitors got a chance to pulling one back after 82 minutes, due to a defensive blunder leaving S. Fantozzi completely unmarked. His strike was pathetic though, easy prey for the home side's keeper. The visitors' right side was dangerous today; T. Luscombe made the home team's keeper look foolish as he easily reduced the lead to make it 4 - 3 83 minutes into the match. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by V.K.B., with 57 percent of the ball.

A. Gibelli performed admirably for Ick@ Team. S. Gülengöz was a disappointment, however. The most dominating V.K.B. player was without a doubt S. Barasiński. H. Damyanov on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 4 - 3.
