Confident in their lead, *FC.UMID*'s players relaxed and focused more on defending the lead than increasing it. *FC.UMID*'s A. Contreiras left the field after 23 minutes because of a nasty blow to the shin. His replacement was J. Garrelts. S. Əsgərov received some harsh words from his coach after he acted foolishly 35 minutes into the match, probably out of lack of experience, and almost let an opponent score. *FC.UMID* put in a good effort on the right, but O. Pejša saw his volley fly wide of the mark 39 minutes into the game. Z. Qasımzadə of ELSAM was booked for kicking the ball away after the whistle. *FC.UMID*'s J. Garrelts increased the lead to 5 - 0, after he saw his shot go between the legs of the advancing goalkeeper following some good play down the right wing after 41 minutes. 5 - 0 was the halftime score. *FC.UMID* enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 55 percent of possession.

After 51 minutes, the away team failed to deal with a good exchange of passes on the right, and L. van der Feen gave the *FC.UMID* supporters even more to cheer about when he increased the lead to 6 - 0. L. van der Feen increased the lead for *FC.UMID* to 7 - 0, getting a head onto a hooked ball from the right. The ball looked to have taken a deflection on the way in, but he's claiming it! *FC.UMID*'s A. Salecki struck his penalty well enough to beat the goalkeeper and extend the home team's lead to 8 - 0 after 69 minutes. 70 minutes in, L. Pénel made an incredible run up the middle and nearly reduced the home side's lead, but P. van der Woude refused to let the ball slip by him. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by *FC.UMID*, with 54 percent of the ball.
