The wings were the focus of most of juve's attacks today. The home crowd breathed a collective sigh of relief when P. Patalas was unable to put the ball in the net after his show of skill down the left 8 minutes into the match. He was seen beating the pitch in frustration at missing such a good chance to give his team the lead! Players in juve heard their coach's words ringing in their ears and steered their central attacks to the wings instead. Given a free kick close to the byline, juve tried a move that loyal fans may recognise from training. A pass to the side pulled the defence out of position which let A. Makarinov slip through on goal. He didn't have to break his stride, and slipped the ball past the keeper to make it 0 - 4, 34 minutes into the game. 0 - 4 was the halftime score. juve enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 81 percent of possession.

After 59 minutes a very unfortunate collision in the penalty area led to juve's A. Makarinov being carried off the pitch and replaced by M. Tağızadə. B. Kadej increased the visitors' lead by putting a volley away after a pass from the right. 0 - 5. juve increased their lead after 66 minutes when A.
