It was an exceptionally sunny day for the crowd of 29212 that came out to FC IVERIONI Arena. A speedy charge from the left side of the field increased the lead of IVERIONI to 3 - 0 as Y. Bludov finished it off competently, firing in from an acute angle. A magnificent combination in the middle resulted in IVERIONI's Y. Bludov increasing the lead to 4 - 0. At that, Y. Bludov was noted down for a hat trick! At this point, it was obvious that the players of IVERIONI lowered the tempo and became more defensively oriented. 4 - 0 was the score after the first half. IVERIONI claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 63 percent.

Cheers filled the stadium as A. Ghiţescu broke through the visitors' central defence to put away the ball to increase the lead to 5 - 0 to IVERIONI. The IVERIONI players could smell victory in the air. H. Kakhurashvili wasn't in a hurry to leave the field as he was substituted for G. Kokoladze after 65 minutes. IVERIONI increased the lead as A. Ghiţescu struck to make the score 6 - 0 after an attack from the left left him unmarked in front of the keeper. Y. Bludov didn't pace himself at all, and after a series of daring offensive runs he was too tired to help out in the defensive play. Things were going to get worse for the visitors. Z. Arzoumanidis squirmed through their central defence after 69 minutes, increasing the lead to 7 - 0. M. López struck a 30 metre free kick home 72 minutes into the match. 8 - 0 for the home team. M. López left the field with a smile on his face as he was substituted 80 minutes into the game, as his team was in the lead. Y. Aksöğüt was the replacement. IVERIONI enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 66 percent of possession.

Most important IVERIONI player was Z. Arzoumanidis. J. Silva Meneses was a disappointment, however. The most dominating fcn player was without a doubt N. Ilić. L. Corrêa turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 8 - 0.
