The weather was pretty good, and a crowd of 12000 had shown up at Future Gimidrome for the match. Homayouni finished off an attack from the left with a spectacular scissors kick. The visitors' L. Sollami took advantage of a misunderstanding between the home side's goalie and centre backs 28 minutes into the match. 0 - 3 for CAPRI. A drive down the left side allowed P. Ouvrard to get in close and score another goal for CAPRI after 35 minutes, taking the score to 0 - 4. By now, the players in CAPRI felt that victory was guaranteed and began to play it safe, focusing on defence and not risking too much going forward. Some fine movement on the left led to a CAPRI goal after 38 minutes, making it 0 - 5. B. Oberweis was noted down as the scorer. Halftime score was 0 - 5. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by CAPRI, with 84 percent of the ball.

R. Aguilar received a delicate pass through the home side's central defence after 56 minutes, and chipped it past the flailing keeper to score making it 0 - 6. The CAPRI fans went wild, whilst the home fans started to think about leaving early. After 60 minutes M. Tănase made a speedy advance and dropped the ball to B. Oberweis who shuffled it past the keeper. The score was now 0 - 7. CAPRI increased their lead after 74 minutes when A. Homayouni broke through on the right, upping the score to 0 - 8, much to the home crowd's dismay. With 75 minutes played, CAPRI put themselves up 0 - 9 after an attack from the right, caused by a defensive blunder. The scorer was D. Zhao. After 76 minutes, an incisive pass through the middle gave M. Tănase a chance to increase the lead for CAPRI, and he did not disappoint. The score was then 0 - 10. After 81 minutes, a mistake by the home side's left defence allowed M. Tănase to get through. He outclassed the home side's keeper, adding another goal for the visitors. 0 - 11. CAPRI enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 87 percent of possession.

P. Frommen performed admirably for Future. J. Bichel turned in a dismal performance, however. CAPRI's best player was B. Oberweis. A. Homayouni was a disappointment, however. The match ends 0 - 11.
