Oyman looked great 19 minutes into the match after stopping a shot from the middle of the penalty area from the visitors' R. Arnesen. After a fine move down the middle S. Mansilla nearly gave the home side a goal after 20 minutes. However the finishing shot went just wide. In a rapid move 24 minutes into the match, M. Dilnur of Gsli lost his man and passed the ball to the unmarked C. Jordan who easily hit it home to make it 1 - 0. Luckily the ref didn't see him taunting the opposing fans in celebration - naughty boy! Central attacks were the recipe of the day for Gsli, as they moved the ball from the wings to the middle with startling regularity. After 27 minutes, a couple of quick and successful challenges followed by a shot from just outside the penalty area by M. Dilnur might have resulted in another goal for Gsli. However, T. Bilgin made a spectacular save. 1 - 0 was the halftime score. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Gsli, with 62 percent of the ball.

A. Pénicaud finished off a quick charge from the left of the field by chipping the ball just past the home side's keeper, making the score 1 - 1 47 minutes into the match. Gsli claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 69 percent.

The most dominating Gsli player was without a doubt C. Jordan. J. Vagedes was a disappointment, however. ULUDAĞ's top performer was clearly R. Arnesen. However, R. Morales made a disastrous appearance. The match ends 1 - 1.
